poem

Soft electric skies
Were in their eyes

She said we could lay here forever in the grass
The strawberries and seeds of summer are for her

Above the clouds
They grew
As vines

They lay there

One Step

The mission of this blog is to serve as a reminder to myself (and others) to treat ourselves well. As you might know, I haven't been treating myself very well recently, but I'm understanding of it. I forgive myself. I've said "yes" to one too many things... or perhaps a few more than one... again. So, I've spread myself thin and got myself all stressed. However, that's okay. It's temporary. One of the things which has been a bit stressful, but also really awesome, has been writing this research paper for a grad class I'm taking called Linguistics for the ESL teacher. I'm pretty much done. I might make a couple little changes and I'm sure there are some areas that would be worded more succinctly, but for now, I'm done.
